SAN is a graphic designer born in Münster, Germany and currently based in Seoul. Drawing on a visual sensibility shaped between Korea and Germany, he has worked professionally across a range of fields, including publishing, exhibitions, independent retail, and fashion. His practice has maintained a consistent interest in the intersection of music and image, with a focus on developing visual languages that embody the identity of artists. As he approaches graduation from Kaywon University of Art & Design, he is preparing for new collaborations that will lead into his next body of work.
산은 독일 뮌스터에서 태어난 그래픽 디자이너이며, 현재 서울을 기반으로 활동하고 있다. 한국과 독일 사이를 오가며 축적한 시각적 감수성을 바탕으로, 다년간 출판, 전시, 편집숍, 패션업계 등 다양한 분야에서 디자이너로서 실무를 이어 왔다. 그는 음악과 이미지가 만나는 지점에 꾸준한 관심을 두어 왔으며, 아티스트의 정체성을 담는 시각 언어를 구축하는 일을 작업의 지향점으로 삼고 있다. 계원예술대학교 졸업을 앞둔 지금, 다음 작업으로 이어질 새로운 협업을 준비하고 있다.
